Bring in the furniture and place it in the arrangement you have decided upon. Put the big items in the room first.
Add smaller decorative items, like lamps and picture frames to dressers and bedside tables.
Hang wall hangings and mirrors. You will want to have help with this, so ask someone to hold them up for you and decide which places they look the best.
Redecorating your bedroom should be fun. Make sure you have some great music playing while you are working and this will make it enjoyable.
Set aside an afternoon or longer to create your new bedroom space. The time will be well spent and will allow you to make your haven perfect.
Things can always be changed later, so remember that. It is your space and you should make it as nice as you possibly can.
Find great comforters, pillow covers and other essentials for your bedroom in department stores and on the computer. Keep in mind that many pillows are hard to take care of and more difficult to place. Stick to a few and you will be much better off.
Always have a great bedside table to lay things on with an alarm clock, lamp and a place to set a coaster for a beverage. Keep a small jewelry box on it to place special items.
Consider getting battery operated candles for some great ambiance when you want to set a romantic mood in your bedroom. This will eliminate safety hazards. Many house fires have been caused when candles burn down and are not attended to.
Have a stereo or another form of music in your bedroom for relaxation and comfort. Televisions are nice, also, but it is better to leave them in another room, as well as computers. Bedrooms are a place for sleeping and relaxing and not working, so make sure yours is comfortable and right for you.
