Recently, I downloaded the following quote:
“Words are but lonely breaths upon the wind. They do not ignite until they cross paths with another.” (Richard Thomas: Professor).
No truer are the words alive than when we look at history past and time present. Tarnish years of faith and failures resonate from the history books of time – in the annals of well meaningful people with good intention but who, unfortunately, have been misguided; in turn, they have misled millions, causing death for some, parody for others and for many, including families, financial loss.
In the 20th century, 1994 is a reminder. In the 21st century, May’s month, and the month of October, 2011, forthcoming would add to the tarnishing of pages in modern Christendom as some attempt to tag dates on the second coming of Jesus Christ and end of the world.
If the world would end on October 21st, 2011, then the world is targeted to collide, crash, and burn at the destination of false theology, warped ideology, unmerited prophecy, and damaged philosophy.
Rationally, can there be any science, metrics, mathematics, trigonometry, geometry or any such to the word “imminent?”
Can the imminent return of Christ be lent and or borrowed to human interpretation whether by rule, mental assent, physics, physical and or natural disasters ‘” though these may point to “signs of the time?”
Can finite humanity understand and or comprehend the infinite fullness of that which is “abstract,” “supreme,” and or “supernatural” in thought, power, and concept?
Can humanity in his limited finiteness embrace the heights and depths of the infinite creator that holds in place the cosmic order of the universe? Who dictates order, chaos, times, seasons, history, governments, politics, and: “who alone knows the crescendo in the rapture and apocalypse?”
Among other books in the Bible, the rapture of the Church is depicted in 1 Thessalonians 4:11 through Chapter 5:1-10; safeguards for one’s protection is cited in II Thessalonians 3:5-6. To know God’s time table for the return of Christ consult Mark 13:31-34, for such power is in His hand and not in the hands of man or humans.
There is no more time for dress rehearsal when lives are at stake, suicides recorded, and fortunes lost. Respectfully, Mr. Camping should exit and turn around 360 degrees. He is destined to be wrong again on October 21, 2011. Breath, and life, and wisdom, and power exist in the following words: “Words are but lonely breaths upon the wind.
