Exercise And Mortality Rate Recent studies show that people having the lowest levels of physical activity have a heart disease risk 1.9 times greater compared to those with the highest level of activity. This is just similar to those people who consume a pack of cigarettes a day. It means that they are more prone to having a heart disease compared to those people leading such an active lifestyle. Also, it is known that approximately 35 percent of coronary heart disease mortality is triggered due to lack of exercise. Hence, it is strongly suggested to keep moving and have a regular exercise to decrease the risk of developing a heart disease.
