Are you and your friends Justin Bieber’s greatest fans? Do you just adore him more than anything?
It is so much fun to throw a Justin Bieber themed party that all your BFF’s will love. I am so into making the party totally theme-based, right down to the food you serve, so I have come up with the top ten snacks and refreshments for a Justin Bieber Themed Party.
1. “I Love Justin” Sugar Cookies
Make sugar cookies with Pillsbury sugar cookie dough that you slice. You can find it in the freezer. Buy cake decorators icing in tubes. Give your friends one (you can share) let them write whatever they want on the cookies. Your friends and you will love writing things like “I love JB” OR JB + (Your initials) OR JB loves (your name) OR whatever you want.
2. Spaghetti Bolognese
Justin’s favorite food is reportedly Spaghetti Bolognese, which is just a fancy word for Spaghetti with a lot of meat and not so much sauce. Sometimes it even has bacon in it. Here is an easy recipe for Spaghetti Bolognese from Kraft . You don’t even have to boil the noodles and your parents will be happy because it has extra veggies in it.
1/2 pound ground beef
1 jar Pasta Sauce, (26 ounces)
1 teaspoon kosher salt (or half as much table salt)
1 teaspoon sugar
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cups water
1/2 pound Angel hair pasta, broken into thirds
2 cups baby spinach or chopped kale
freshly grated Parmesan cheese
In a large, heavy pot over medium heat, saut© the beef until it is browning in places and no longer pink ‘”3 or 4 minutes. Add the sauce and cook, stirring, for a minute or two, and then stir in the salt, sugar, olive oil, water, pasta, and greens. Stir constantly until the mixture comes to a boil, then turn the heat down to low, cover the pot, and simmer gently ‘” stirring frequently so that the bottom doesn’t scorch ‘”for 10 or so minutes, until the pasta is tender.
Serve with grated parmesan cheese.
3. Captain Crunch with Crunch Berries Krispies
Justin’s favorite cereal is Captain Crunch with Crunch Berries so I came up with this recipe which is a variation of Rice Krispy Treats.
1 stick butter
1 package mini or regular marshmallows
4 cups Captain Crunch with Crunchberries
Butter a 9 x 13 pan. Melt the marshmallows in the microwave. It takes about a minute. Stir in the butter, then the Captain Crunch with Crunch Berries. Pat the mixture into the greased pan. Pat the mixture down, cover them up and allow them to harden. Cut and Serve.
4. Sour Patch Jello Jiggler Cups
Sour Patch Kids are reportedly Justin Bieber’s favorite candy so I created this recipe to go with your party theme. Your friends probably love jello and cool whip to this should be a hit.
2-1/2 cups boiling water (Do not add cold water.)
2 pkg. (8-serving size each) JELL-O Gelatin, any flavor (I like raspberry because the red Sour Patch kids are raspberry flavored.
Sour Patch Kids
STIR boiling water into dry gelatin mix in large bowl at least 3 min. until completely dissolved. Pour into 13×9-inch pan.
REFRIGERATE at least 3 hours or until firm.
DIP bottom of pan in warm water 15 sec. Cut into cubes decorative shapes using a knife, being careful to cut all the way through. Scrape the jello into clear plastic cups (about 8) about an inch or so in the bottom of each cup. Add a layer of cool whip and another layer of jello. Top with Sour Patch Kids.
5. Orange cream punch
Justin’s favorite drinks are reported to be 7 up and Orange Juice or Orange Vitamin Water. I adapted a classic punch recipe to make Justin-inspired Cream Punch.
One can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
One can (12 oz) frozen Orange Juice, thawed
Orange food coloring
Two liter bottle of 7 up
Orange sherbet ‘” 16 scoops
Mix the sweetened condensed milk and orange juice. Add a few drops of orange food coloring to make it close the the color of a dreamsickle. Mix. Add the 7 up and stir. Add the orange sherbet a few scoops at a time. Mix the punch as you go. Serve in an old-fashioned punch bowl (I bet your mom has one somewhere).
