Growing up, I had always believed in God. I had believed that Jesus had died for my sins, however, as a child, I did not realize the extent of what that actually meant. As our parents raise us and dedicate us to God to show us the one and true way we start to grow with the knowledge of God and what it means to know Jesus Christ. As we get older, we must make a choice. Continue on the path that was set forth or embark on a new path. A path that will not lead to Jesus. We make our choice, and for better or worse. I came close to embarking on a new path myself. I know the temptation religion of the world can bring.
Being A Christian Is Easy! Not!
I have been told many times that being a Christian is so easy and simple. The process of becoming Christian is fairly simple. You simply declare that you believe Jesus is the Son of God, and that He is your savior. That’s it. Simple. Once you declare your faith, and follow in it things are not going to be easier, in fact, they will probably be harder. Many friends of mine who have turned their life over to God, had to endure hardships before they say the fruit of those hardships. “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil. For you are with me; your rod and your staff shall comfort me.” Psalm 23:4.
Why Does God Condemn A World He Created?
God created this world to honor us. The minute sin entered the world; his perfect creation was no longer perfect. He wants all His children to be saved so we all may enter Heaven. Just as we have. He gives us free will, so we may choose to love Him for all His infinite glory or we can choose not to. God doesn’t want to condemn the world he created, but just as there is a plan for justice when a criminal is caught. There is a process for God as well. He gives us the opportunity to make a choice.
Why Does God Let Bad Things Happen To Good People?
The fall of man if responsible for letting sin into this world. The minute sin entered the world, everything has changed from what it could be to what it now is. The fall of Man began in the Garden of Eden. God doesn’t wish bad things upon us, only simply to grow us. Again, free will is in part due to the reason why bad things happen to good people. God will take something that is bad and transform it into something that is good. The world is made up of free will. People make decisions that have created bad events to transpire in the history of God’s world.
Why Would God Sacrifice Family For People Who Still Sin?
God knew the very thing that would happen to Jesus. Jesus knew what would happen to him all of his life. He was sent down for a purpose. He came down and healed the sick, the lame, brought back the dead just to name a few miracles. Ultimately, that was not His mission. His mission was to save those who are lost. He is the Shepherd, we are the sheep. God required a perfect sacrifice. A sacrifice who is blameless and sinless. That sacrifice was Jesus Christ. In the Old Testament, the Jewish community would sacrifice their animals to atone for their sins. However, no sacrifice was ever perfect enough to cover all sins. Jesus was the perfect sacrifice who was crucified to cover the sin of all of humanity for eternity. God did it to save us all. God loves His children so much, He is willing to do what is needed to bring His children back home.
If God Is Good, Why Is There Evil?
Free will. Back in the Garden of Eden, God commanded Adam and Eve not to eat of the Tree of knowledge of Good and Evil. Evil entered the world the second they disobeyed. This allowed sin to enter the world. God is good and he would rather we love Him with all our heart, than to program all His people as mindless believers.
How Is The Trinity Even Possible?
The trinity is simply a symbol for the three in one that is our God. The trinity represents God, the Father, God The Son, and God The Holy Spirit. Confused yet? I’ll explain. God is all three of these things. God is the father, the master and ruler of our lives. When we weep, He comforts us as any loving father would. God is also Jesus Christ. That’s right. Jesus Christ is God in flesh and blood. This is why he was able to perform so many miracles including the Resurrection. Then there is the Holy Spirit. That is the whisper of God, not to be confused with your conscience. It’s the same power that rose Jesus from the grave. In us all, lives the Holy Spirit, who whispers to us, especially in times of great importance.
Why Would God Give Man Free Will?
God gave us free will, because He loved us enough to let us choose what path we wanted to take. He gave us this choice out of pure love for His children. Free will is what sets us apart from the animals of the world. The free will to choose at every time we need to make a decision. The decisions we make is ours. Free will exemplifies God’s infinite love for His children. Sometimes we make good decisions, sometimes we make bad decisions. God wants us to learn from our mistakes and to grow from it.
How Can A Virgin Give Birth?
This has got to be one of most heated questions up for debate in terms of theology. For years, people have debated the fact that Jesus Christ was born of a Virgin. Considering what is needed for a child to be born. The answer is relatively simple is you are a believer. Mary, the Virgin who birthed Jesus Christ into the world was chosen by God to bring into the world the sinless and blameless man who would come to save us and would bring a new era of what was needed to be saved. Many people who are not Christians would be stunned at this fact, maybe even thinking that it’s a copout. However, it is the truth. She was chosen, as it was her destiny to be mother to Jesus Christ. For with God, anything is possible.
How Can A Man Be Brought Back From The Dead?
Simple. The Holy Spirit. If God wills something to be, nothing is going to stop His will from become truth. Jesus rose Lazarus from the dead because God willed it. Jesus rose from the grave because God willed it. The answer sounds too simple, yet it’s truth.
Couldn’t Christianity Be An Elaborate Hoax?
There are many that think all of Christianity could be an elaborate hoax. The answer is simple. No, it could not be. Most of the disciples died brutal and cruel deaths. For what? Preaching the Gospel. The fact that they were willing to die so they could tell Jesus is resurrected signifies truth in what is said. Why would anyone willingly die for something, if it was all a hoax? They wouldn’t. Nobody would. However, someone would die for something they believed in and knew was truth.
Knowing all that I know now, there is only one possible path for me to take. That is the path to God. Jesus Christ is my Lord and Savior, is He yours? I live my life with the ideals that are set forth. Some might call those ideals old-fashioned. For me, it is the only choice I can make it. It’s not old-fashioned, it simply is the truth.
