Many of us are living from paycheck to paycheck and are in desperate need to save some money. Well you have come to the right place. I have put together a list of proven tactics that I use in my daily life to help you save as much money as possible.

#1 Buy Energy Efficient Light Bulbs. Energy star light bulbs can save you up to 75% of energy costs associated with lighting. These light bulbs may cost a little bit more but they are well worth it in the long run.

#2 Get DVDs from Red Box. They only cost $1 per day which is nothing compared to how much you pay at stores buying them. How many movies do you watch more than once anyways?

#3 Buy A Car Online. This one is for people that are needing a new vehicle. Cars can be purchased a lot cheaper online by a few hundred to a few grand. A good online site for cars is They have many cars to choose from and do financing.

#4 Shut Vents In Unused Rooms. it takes more energy for your house to heat/cool if it is heating/cooling rooms you do not use. Go ahead and close those vents and experience a lower power bill in the future.

#5 Shop At Bi Lo If You Can. Bi Lo has a program to help you spend less on gas. When you buy food from them and use a bonus card they give you fuel perks. You can really save a lot of money with this tip.

#6 Get Rid Of Your Home Telephone. This will be an extra $40+ in your pocket. It really does add up when you are needing to save money. Most people already use their mobile phones as their main means of communication anyways.

#7 Switch Phone Services To Magic Jack. This telephone service only costs $19.95 for a YEAR! That is incredible. All you do is plug the devise into your computer and then you have a telephone service. You have to have Internet in order to use this service though. Magic Jack can be found at Radio-shack.

#8 Stop Smoking. Some of you have thought about it. It saves you a bunch of money in the end and you get healthier. Why not give it a shot.

#9 Use Ebates for up to 25% cash back. This is a free online coupon group that allows you to save money on things you need to buy anyways. Check it out. Coupons always help when saving money.

#10 Use Sites That Pay You Cash Back. Yep I said it. There are sites out there that give you cash back for buying things you already need and signing up for free trials you already wanted to try. One of my favorites is Cash Crate. The sign up is free and they also have surveys you can take to earn even more money. They also have videos and games. They are 100% legit. I use it all the time!
