I look at Mitt Romney and I see many things, an older model for a golf magazine, maybe an actor in an erectile dysfunction commercial. He could also pass for the boss in the movie Office Space, maybe even be the ultimate personification of “the man”. He also looks like a big fat hypocrite every time he opens his mouth, especially when he talks about health care. He created Romneycare which sure looks a lot like Obamacare in every single way, and now is trying to back off his record of doing so. He could say a lot of things to explain it, like maybe it is a good idea to stop asking the people who do have health care and money to pay for those who didn’t. The plan he setup in Massachusetts is exactly in line with republican principles of personal responsibility. Everyone should, no must, pay for their own health care, and by mandating that everyone get their own policies you are starting the process of lowering the costs of health care overall. The alternative is they don’t take personal responsibility, they get sick or their children do, they go to the emergency room, they get a massive bill and they don’t pay it. Then that cost gets shifted to us who do pay, and we end up paying it for them. Sure it hurts their credit and such, but do you really think people care about their credit when they have appendicitis or food poisoning or are being life flighted from a car accident. I like what Romney did in Massachusetts, but for some unusual reason he doesn’t. I know why he doesn’t, because the black guy in the oval office made a plan almost identical and he is trying to run for office. This completely eliminates him in my mind as a credible candidate when he talks about how bad Obamacare is for the country, he is a liar and spineless.
This little article isn’t about how much of a spineless, corporate establishment bull(expletive) artist Mr. Romney is, but it is something else that should completely eliminate him from holding the highest office in the land. He is a Mormon, and Mormon’s are crazy, wacko people, period and exclamation point. Actually that is understating it, in all reality all religious people are missing something in their make up that makes them so damaged that they need to believe in fairy tales written by other people and pretend it is written by god. Take a look at this scale of religious craziness…
All Christians – Wacko and Arrogant
All Jews – Wacko and Self-loathing
All Muslims – Wacko and Angry
All Buddhists – Wacko but Harmless
All Mormons – All four of those times 1 million times the wacko and trying to run for president.
Christians, Muslims, and Jews all essentially believe the same thing believe it or not. They believe there is one god, they believe you go to a bad place if you don’t follow their rules and go to a good place if you do follow their rules after you die. They believe they are right and ipso facto everyone else is wrong. They all have their magic fairy tales of people learning to read and write on a mountain, immaculate conceptions, parting seas, plagues, etc… Where they differ is who they think the savior is, and what their rules are on getting to the good place instead of the bad place. Mormons believe all that stuff but then believe something entirely different. If you don’t believe me, here are just a few (and believe me when I say I can write 10 books about their craziness) of the highlights of the total insanity that is Mormonism…
God once was a mortal who became an eternal being after a great trial. So god isn’t even a spirit or entity but was a man.
After Jesus resurrected he came to America, yes this America.
There are multiple gods like ours with their own universes to rule over. I know, I know but it gets much worse.
Until “recently”, meaning 150 years or so, they taught that black people are all cursed. Yes cursed by god as punishment because they were on the wrong side of the war between Jesus and Lucifer. I can see now why Romney hates Obama’s health care plan, because Romneycare is mandated by LDS and Obama’s is cursed by the black man, there is more though.
They believe in covenant and spiritual protection underwear, I won’t say magic because they won’t agree with that. They believe wearing sacred undergarments protects them spiritually (from what I don’t know) and reminds them of their covenant with god. Which god? There is God, Jesus and the Holy Ghost, and of course there is their god personified on earth in the form of their current prophet they listen to.
I can list hundreds of things on here, not to ridicule but to illuminate the unbelievable. Like Obama or not, he is a pragmatist, and I believe in his heart of hearts an atheist. That gives me comfort to know that he takes life and death situations seriously. A religious person believes what they believe to be correct and if you don’t adhere to it, you will ultimately pay the price for it. How can someone who is religiously inclined whether one of the 3 main wacko religions or this Mormon invention ever respect the hundreds of millions of people in this country who don’t agree with them. The simple answer to that question is they can’t and most importantly they won’t. Mormonism is the true Americanized right wing Christian, I mean they even believe Jesus came to America. I won’t even get into the racist message he brought with him against the Native American indigenous people of this country, but lets say he didn’t really like them too much. Just imagine for a moment what would happen if Romney wins, not only do we have a hypocrite, spineless, liar which has it out for every single poor person in this country. We also have a guy who believe in making covenants with gods through the wearing of underwear, who also believes that native Americans are inherently evil, black people are cursed and god was actually a man and Jesus is American. With all those borderline psychotic beliefs backing him up I have to say Sarah Palin is looking like a lot more promising choice right now. This is a plea that if you want smaller government and low taxes and to be left alone, don’t think your vote for this joker is the same thing as voting for lets say Ronald Reagan. This is a zealot and a dangerous one that just comes disguised as a perfect looking Republican, don’t get fooled, nominate someone else. Anyone else, Mickey Mouse, Jay-z, your mom, my mom, anyone but him, that is if you want a chance of winning an actual general election. Now if you don’t care about winning, then you just might get duped by this con artist into thinking he thinks like you, acts like you and believes like you. If you think that is true take a trip out to Utah and go to the LDS temple and find out what he really believes and before you cast your Republican nomination ballot remember that the guy you might vote for actually believes that the Garden of Eden is in western Missouri. Now I have been to and through Missouri many times, and it is a lovely state, but it ain’t no Garden of Eden. When election time comes Republicans, just say no to this mockery of a candidate pick some other religious zealot, just make sure they are the typical Christian nut and not the Scientology version of it like Mr. Romney.
