In these economic hard times everyone is looking for a way to make ends meet. It is easy to be tempted by all these “Get rich quick” schemes that are thrown in our faces on the Internet. I have to admit, I have been sucked into a few. What I learned is the only ones making any money on those schemes are the ones who are getting money from people like me! I finally had to face the fact that it is okay to look for ways to earn more money, but in the meantime, I needed to find ways to SAVE more money to make ends meet now.
I want to share with you a few of the ways I use to earn a little and save a little.
Swagbbucks is a search engine very much like Google, but Swagbucks rewards you with virtual “bucks.” Use the search engine for every day searches and you are randomly rewarded. Once you have accumulated enough “bucks,” you can redeem them for anything from a desktop wallpaper to an X-Box. I use mine for Amazon gift cards. Once the card is activated, you add it to your Amazon account and you will have the money to use on whatever you want whenever you want it. I consider it free E-books for my Kindle. They also make things fun by posting hidden codes in their blogs and other places on their site. If you can find the codes – you can get even more bucks. http://www.swagubcks.com/refer/Knightclan
You Data is a great site. All you have to do is sign up and start surfing. You pick and choose what sites you want to look at and what you don’t. Just for visiting these sites – you get paid! I’m not claiming you can quit your day job by any means, but any free money is good money in my book. How much you can make is dependent on where you live and what sites they have to offer you, but nothing could be easier. Faithfully every Friday, a payment is made to your PayPal account. http://www.youdata.com/join/knightclan
If you love free stuff – this is the site for you! Once you sign up to frugal freebies and deals, you can have a list emailed to you every day of opprtunities to get free samples and great discounts. I signed up for this site about 8 months ago and now every time I go to my mailbox is it loaded with free stuff! There are a lot of “free stuff” sites out there and I have tried quite a few of them, but this one by far is the best. http://www.frugalfreebiesanddeals.com
If you are looking for a little extra cash, Ebay is the place. It is easy to go through your house and find things that you just don’t use, wear or want anymore that someone else would love to have. I don’t have the time to sell a lot at one time, as it can be time consuming, but I have a plastic tote where I keep my Ebay items. Then whenever I have time or if I am really strapped for cash, I start selling. If you wanted to put more time into it, you could do a lot of bargain basement and clearance shopping, and Ebay full time and make a healthy profit. www.ebay.com
If your entertainment budget is a little light, there are some great deals to be had through Groupon.com. You can sign up to recieve emails that offer huge savings to local area restaurants, movies and other fun things. I once paid 1 dollar for 3 Redbox movies, and paid 10 dollars for a 20 dollar gift card to a local restaurant. This site takes the guilt out of indulging a little. www.groupon.com
I know these sites won’t make you rich, but they will make your life a little easier. Any money I earn from these sites goes directly to my PayPal or Amazon account, and it is like money in the bank. Happy saving!
