Rhode Island may be a very, very small state and everyone may think there is not much to do. But, as a women who has grown up in Rhode Island, you must know that is not true. There is always some great festivals or events going on in the summer.

Come check out a two hour cruise on the Catamaran Millenium Ship. The ship carries 400 passengers and sails some great scenery. Such as 10 different light houses (Wickford Point, Plum Beach, Dutch Island, Whale Rock, etc.), some islands, the Jamestown/Newport Bridge, and Newport Harbors where there are tons of sailboats and yachts.

South County Hot Air Balloon Festival
Come enjoy hot air balloons,crafts,music,fishing,food, rides, and much more. On the Friday night the hot air balloons will glow and there will be tons of entertainment. Dates are July 22, 2011- July 24, 2011 . Friday 4pm-10pm , Saturday 6am-10pm , Sunday 6am-6pm.
Movies on the Rocks: The Wizard of Oz
Enjoy a fun outdoor movie screening of The Wizard of Oz, picnic dinners are welcome. This movie is on August 10, 2011 starting at dusk, and free admission.
44th Annual Washington County Fair
