4th of July AmericaFest at the Rose Bowl
This is the biggest fireworks show in Los Angeles. A rockin’ performance by the Jan & Dean Show showcasing Dean Torrence, Mariachi Divas, and a band performance by DCI Phantom Regiment, Ives Brothers FMX motorcycle stunt.
When: July 4, food court opens 2 p.m.; stadium 6 p.m., Drum and Bugle performances 7 p.m., Fireworks 9:05 p.m.

Palisades Americanism Parade/ Palisades Rocks the Fourth
Join your neighbors and savor bands and equestrian units prancing along side local community organizations, celebrities and kids. 2011 Grand Marshal is Jeffrey Tambor. There will be a two hour concert with patriotic tunes and rock and roll. The show’s headliner is reggae master Rocky Dawuni. Concert and fireworks show is at Palisades Charter High School Stadium by the Sea.
When: July 4, Skydivers 1:50 p.m., 2 p.m. parade, 6:30 p.m. concert, 9 p.m. fireworks

July 4th Baseball and Fireworks at Dodger Stadium
The Los Angeles Dodgers game against the New York Mets will be followed by an amazing fireworks show.

Annual Vision Outside 4th of July Jazz and Blues Festival in Leimert Park
Celebrate the 4th of July at the Vision Theatre in Leimert Park with jazz and blues, children’s arts and crafts, face painting, yummy food, and free watermelon.
When: July 4, 1:00 p.m. — 7:00 p.m.

4th of July BBQ at the Aquarium of the Pacific
Enjoy the Aquarium at night and get a fish-eye view of the Queen Mary fireworks. Combo tickets include admission to the aquarium plus an Independence Day B-B-Q buffet with home-style grilled food and delicious deserts.
When: July 4, 5:00 – 10:00 p.m. Dinner 6 – 8 p.m., Aquarium opens at 9 am

Queen Mary BBQ, Brews and Red, White & Blues
The Queen Mary Independence Day celebration will be an old-fashioned BBQ with Carolina, Texas, Kansas City and St. Louis BBQ ready to be eaten as well as corn-on-the-cob, baked beans, funnel cake and other non-barbecue favorites. There will be 2 stages of live music, strolling entertainers and a children’s area, ending with the amazing 4th of July fireworks show. Special hotel rates are available.

Long Beach Kids’ July 4th Bike Parade
Children and adults are encouraged to adorn their bikes and themselves for this annual patriotic procession on wheels that takes place on the beach bike path in Long Beach. As well as the bike parade, the event will include games for children 12 and younger, including a Patriotic Oratory Competition (advance submission required), watermelon seed spitting, and patriotic costume contest.
When: 9:15 registration to participate, 10 a.m. parade, followed by competitions

4th of July Celebration in San Pedro
Live music, U.S. military exhibits, tours of a Navy frigate, armed forces, and U.S. Coast Guard demonstrations, displays by the LA City Fire Department’s firefighting boat, and the Washington Artillery Reenactment group followed by fireworks.

Soccer with Fireworks – LA Galaxy vs. Seattle Sounders FC
LA Galaxy will compete against the Seattle Sounders FC on July 4th with post game fireworks at the Home Depot Center in Carson.

Annual San Fernando Valley Independence Day Celebration
A holiday celebration in the San Fernando Valley featuring music and other live entertainment, food, and fireworks. Take a swim in the 1.5-acre swim lake available for use during the day.

Irwindale Speedway NASCAR Races and Fireworks Show
NASCAR K&N Pro West Series 200 Race followed by a fireworks show.

This is an exciting family festival showcasing exhibits, music, food, fireworks, a children’s fun zone, and a business exposition in a back lot at CBS Studios.
