There are many forms of anxiety and panic disorders, as well as different levels of depression. For treatment, there are herbs, beta blockers, SSRIs, MAOIs, tranquilizers, tricyclic antidepressants and tons more. This is not a full list It is also only semi-alphabetical.
What works for one person may not work for another. If you find one medication does not work perhaps you can ask your doctor if you can tryanother. There are side effects to almost everything, but most are mild. Some of these medications are made for one problem and not the other. Some were originally made for other disorders/illnesses and found to help anxiety, panic and depression. Some of these may not be sold in the USA.
