The Law of Attraction has become a cornerstone in the self-help world. Virtually every other aspect of self-help stems from this Law in some way. Even though this Law serves as the foundation for one of the biggest movements in human history, there are still plenty of doubters out there. Ironically, by the Law, if you believe the Law to be bogus, your thoughts will prove you right. So for the sake of your own success and life, I would ask that you consider these aspects of the Law of Attraction:
1. It Has Stood the Test of Time and Is Working All Around You.
The power of the mind is mentioned in writings that predate Christ. Virtually every major icon of success who has been analyzed or has written an autobiography has talked of their undying faith in themselves to succeed at their task of monumental proportion. Henry Ford alluded to the Law when he said, “Whether you think you can or your can’t, you are right.” Napoleon Hill stated, “like attracts like.” Jesus said, “What you sow, you shall reap.” All of these statements point to a force greater than any individual that responds to one’s resonance of heart.
While this sounds kind of hokey, think of this scenario. You have undoubtedly known a person who says they are optimistic or thinks that good is going to come into their lives. However, right after making one of these positive statements, they will tell you about all the trouble in their lives, not about what they are DOING to fix these issues, but just the problems. While they have positive statements coming out of their mouths, their resonance of heart reveals their true focus is only on the negative aspects of their lives. As Hill put it, their thoughts of illness and lack attracted that very “like” to manifest in their lives.
2. It IS Already Working in Your Life.
While this idea may be uncomfortable for you, it is true. Just as if you were going to dismiss gravity for being absurd, you would still walk down a street firmly held to the pavement. Is the author saying you can not obtain success or fulfillment without knowingly applying the law of attraction? No. Many have achieved success without being so conditioned, but their minds were already set to purpose, and the Law was being fulfilled in them unknowingly.
So here is the challenge: Think of an instance where you have gotten something that you wanted. Think about where the thought came from. Think about the process you went through to get the object of your desire. You probably became very creative, you may have deviated from normal behaviors, you may have even done favors for someone else. The point is, whether you recognize it or not, the Law was working in you because your thoughts radiated your desire to get what you wanted.
The biggest danger in not recognizing the Law is the amount of missed opportunities at success and fulfillment you may pass. Now that you have read this article, and whether you like it or not, you are now completely accountable for the future you create, not necessarily everything that happens to you, but how you handle life and pursue your goals and dreams.
