Do you sense that your animal is experiencing pain or stress? If you answered, “yes” then Reiki Medicine could be just the thing to help your animal feel better. To help understand what Reiki medicine is and how animals can benefit from Reiki Medicine, I have interviewed Licensed Spiritual Health Coach Louisa Mastromarino.
Tell me a little bit about yourself.
“I am a Licensed Spiritual Health Coach and a Bioenergetics Specialist who owns and operates Raising Waters Holistic, Inc, a private holistic practice that also hosts two online divisions called SIReiki.com and DistantHolistic.com . Both sites are dedicated to providing quality holistic care to individuals and animals emphasizing the power that energy medicine , including Reiki, has to reach people throughout the world. I have a master’s degree in counselor education and use my experience as an educator and counselor to coach others through their healing process. As an animal communicator and medical intuitive I use my skills to help animals and people feel better and discover the root cause of their issue. I am credentialed as a stress management specialist , pain management specialist , Quantum Biofeedback specialist, and bioenergetics specialist through the Natural Therapies Certification Board. I am a Reiki Master Instructor and offer monthly workshops in Reiki and other holistic systems for all people interested in learning how to use complementary medicine to help themselves, their family and their pets achieve their wellness potential.”
What is Reiki Energy Medicine?
“Reiki energy medicine is a holistic modality that incorporates the channeling of spiritual energy into the hands of the practitioner. This energy is authentic and is known in different traditions by different names including Prana in India, Chi is China, and the Holy Spirit in the Christian and Catholic traditions. Reiki was re-discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui , a Buddhist monk during a mystical experience in Japan in the early 1900’s. Since then Reiki has been practiced and taught in hospitals and holistic outlets all over the world.
Reiki, the spirit of God or Universal Life Force Energy, is tangible. Once you pray for the Reiki energy to come through your hands after activation in a training program, you have it forever. We are all spiritual beings with amazing spiritual gifts . Reiki is an introduction to the unique way our spiritual facet integrates into our physical environment. Reiki is an all-knowing powerful consciousness of divine energy that fosters spiritual growth, wellness and stress reduction at all levels. Everyone can learn Reiki because in every human being is the power of the Christ, Buddha, Allah. We are all made in the image and likeness of God and as such can do great things. Reiki is one doorway of that knowing. It is for everyone, anytime, anywhere easily, safely and gently.”
How can animals benefit from Reiki energy medicine?
“Animals, as Saint Francis also shared in his ministry, are the highest form of love. Love heals and animals are the greatest healers of all. Reiki benefits all animals because animals too have stress and pain issues. Although technically Reiki cannot treat, diagnose, or cure, Reiki can destress and provide relaxation for all conditions. Animals as well as humans have an energetic chakra system that oversees physical wellness. The chakras are whirling vortexes of light that house the energetic connection to the soul. Reiki allows for spiritual energy to flow through the chakra system clearing and balancing important centers and meridians. When the chakra system in animals is balanced, many physical conditions have the potential to destress naturally. Animals love Reiki and are open to receiving a loving and rejuvenating session.”
Where can someone find someone find more information about Reiki energy medicine for their animal?
“More information about Reiki energy medicine for pets can be found at my websites raisingwaters.com or distantholistic.com. I am constantly updating my information and programs to accommodate new learning on this topic and others. My private sessions focus on client education and teach gentle holistic techniques to owners in need of sustaining the benefits of the Reiki session for their pet. I also recommend the book Animal Reiki: Using Energy to Heal the Animals in Your Life by Elizabeth Fulton and Kathleen Prasad. There are other available books on the internet geared to inform practitioners and owners on the power of Reiki for animals. Other sites like ‘ Reiki.org .’, ‘The Reiki Digest’, or ‘SARA: Sara Shelter Animal Reiki Association’ also promote quality standards in Reiki training and practice worldwide.”
Thank you Louisa for doing the interview on how animals can benefit from Reiki medicine.
