The Luxor has had a several year renovation, with MGM throwing in over $300 million to reinvent over 80 percent of the complex. Not one to be outdated, MGM Grand Hotel has recently made plans to remodel all of its hotel rooms from floor to ceiling, with a brand new color palette and d©cor ranging from 42″ TVs to completely redecorated bathrooms.
Although one of the newest hotels on the Strip, the Wynn Las Vegas has developed its 142-acre golf course into a golfer’s paradise and is currently having nearly 3,000 of its rooms and suites revamped to give guests the most luxurious stay possible. The Bellagio, already an amazing place to stay, is making adjustments to all of its rooms. A fresh lick of paint and brand new flat screen TVs are just two of the changes they have planned.
The most anticipated renovations have finally been completed at the Tropicana Hotel. With over $180 million dollars invested in their South Beach themed remodeling, the have truly redone everything. From guest rooms and suites, gambling options, restaurants and bars to their nightlife and shows. The Grand Opening of Nikki Beach Las Vegas was the icing on the cake. Bringing in everyone from the likes of celebrities, to celebrities themselves including the Trop’s own Gladys Knight and Brad Garret. Holly Madison, Halle Berry, Wayne Newton, Jamie Foxx and Dan Aykroyd were also in attendance during the grand opening week of celebration. True to it’s unparalleled world-class elegance, Nikki Beach has brought the best of their South Beach, Marbella and St. Tropez style providing it’s guests with something totally different than the others on the strip. In their signature all-white decor, luxurious opium beds, cabanas and teepees furnished the beach club oasis complete with an outdoor bar and blackjack tables. Inside at Club Nikki, they kick it up a notch providing some of the best DJs spinning and pumping out music on state-of-the-art sound systems complete with light shows. Aerialist, violinist, acrobatic dancers, 10″ tall dancers all antagonize it’s guest to dance till the early morning hours. Champagne is delivered table side from Angels in sky (Nikki’s sky, if you will)! The details to this venue are limitless and certainly deliver it’s clients with the epitome of the Vegas nightlife experience. Nikki Beach Las Vegas is undeniably the BEST part of the Trop’s multi-million dollar renovations.
With the rich getting richer and the extravagant getting more and more extravagant, Las Vegas hotels need to make sure they keep up with its guests. With a reputation of constant reinventing and remodeling, regular visitors now expect to find something new each time and won’t settle for anything less. The pressure to keep updating may keep the hotel owners up at night but as the beds get increasingly more comfortable, the guests certainly don’t have a problem with it.
