Here are fifteen ways that you can begin anew today and change your physical, spiritual, and emotional status from unaware to aware, unhealthy to healthy and add length to your life.
Go Organic: many non-organic foods are genetically modified for specific purposes and can wreak havoc on your DNA. By eating organic, you are guaranteed that what you are putting in your body is safe and natural. If you cannot afford organic food – try planting organic seeds. The money you save on doctor bills is worth the investment in healthy food and produce.
Limit Animal Proteins: Animal proteins are sometimes necessary for some, but can lead to serious health problems across the board. Factory farming uses steroids, hormones, antibiotics and poor living conditions that all taint the quality of the meat you eat. By making simple changes, such as eating one meal a week with no animal proteins or fats, you can make significant health improvements one plate at a time.
Incorporate Living Foods: Living foods or raw foods come in various delicious forms. Sprouts, fresh raw vegetables, plant proteins in the forms of raw nuts, seeds and legumes are perfect for your body to assimilate on the cellular level.
