Dying is just like taxes in the respect that it is going to happen to you and me. Over history, we realize it doesn’t matter who you are, you are going to face death. Famous people have no secret weapon against death. They are just like you and I. They will die. We will die. Death is a part of life. However, many of us look forward to eternal life in Heaven. After we all pass from this world, I hope to meet each one of you in a better place called Heaven.

What Happened on this Day in History?
1635 – The first public school in the United States, Boston Latin School, is founded in Boston, Massachusetts

1910 – Theodore Roosevelt made his The Man in the Arena speech

1985 – Coca-Cola changes its formula and releases New Coke. The response is overwhelmingly negative, and the original formula is back on the market in less than 3 months

2009 – The gamma ray burst GRB 090423 is observed for 10 seconds. The event signals the most distant object of any kind and also the oldest known object in the universe

1918-1995 – Howard Cosell, American sports journalist

1928-1998 – James Earl Ray, American alleged assassin convicted of the murder of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
