Mist has already been making waves in European markets, with a plethora of elite awards following the product’s debut in 2008. Producing plastic bottles involves many hazardous chemicals, and even requires petroleum. These harmful ingredients in plastic may be leached into the bottle’s contents, causing water to develop an unnatural taste. Shouldn’t water be simply pure? By tapping into this area, Halliman’s water Mist, is simply that, with no additives, and prides itself on having the lowest amount of total dissolved solvents in the industry.
You might question its high retail value (approximately $8-$10 per bottle), however what makes it stand out from its competitors is the fact that it is Award Winning. It’s been recognized by the bottled water industry and consumers alike, solidifying its pedigree among competitors. “I guess you can look at it like this,” says Halliman, “What was the difference between Denzel Washington before and after he won an Oscar? Nothing, however the Oscar Award gave him more credibility as an actor, which in turn garnered him more roles, more money and ultimately more respect.”
