King James Version (KJV)
27And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
There are no such things as ghosts. There is a Holy Ghost, and He certainly isn’t dangerous. There are people who are reading this article who will swear by everything that is holy that they have seen a ghost, and that same ghost gave them a lottery number to play. That was neither a ghost nor a blessing from God. God will not send a lottery number your way, but that can be discussed another time. The point is that in this fallen world in which we live in, we are not alone. When Adam and Eve made that fatal mistake of eating the forbidden fruit, they both essentially handed the keys of Paradise over to the enemy. The enemy then took over this world’s system, infiltrating it with his sick, backward imitation of God and how God runs Heaven. Everything the enemy has and does is the complete opposite of the Almighty. God has Jesus Christ, the enemy has the anti-Christ; God fills His followers with the Holy Ghost, the enemy fills his followers with demons; God has angels, the enemy has demons. The enemy is not above telling his demons to go and trick anyone who is weak enough to fall for his tricks.
People are essentially social creatures. Some people are so lonely that they look for companionship in any shape or form. They call sex lines, they visit strip clubs, they call up escorts or pick up prostitutes. Some lonely, but they have been hurt by other people before that they have basically dropped the need for human companionship and have decided to explore other realms. They visit psychics and spiritualists. They pick up a ouji board to communicate with Elvis, yet they don’t hardly get Elvis, but some demon who has studied for thousands of years what people want, like, don’t want or don’t like. The demon will disguise himself as Elvis, further leading the poor person on with this dangerous charade. There are no such things as ghosts. Once a person dies, he either goes to heaven to be with the Master, or to hell. If Maria dies and she goes to heaven, do you really think that she is going to want to leave there to come and hang around folk on earth? Earth sucks for the most part, especially compared to heaven. When people die and they end up in hell, do you really think that God is such a soft touch that He can’t keep track of the residents in hell, always allowing them to escape whenever they feel like it?
Hebrews 9:27 says that 27And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
Once a person is dead, it’s over, until Judgment Day, when every person who is up for judgment will be judged, including fallen angels, now known as demons. So it stands safe to say that if a person moves into a house that is haunted, it isn’t haunted by some poor, misunderstood ghost who needs help going into the ‘light.’ A haunted house is and can be a dangerous place for any person or animal to live in. If you think that you live in a haunted residence, yes, the place can be spiritually cleansed. But wouldn’t it be better to avoid places like that in the first place?
The best way to avoid places like that is to ask God for help when selecting a home. Praying and asking God for divine guidance along with some type of fasting weeks ahead isn’t mandatory, but it can be a peaceful solution for decreasing the stress of resident hunting. One woman of God that I know was lead to fast seven days before moving into the house across the street where I used to live. It was a good idea: the people who lived there before had some serious issues. The young lady had five kids before the age of 25, she was always arguing with someone, her kids had issues, strange people were in there enough of the time. It was a mess. A spirit of anger could have taken over all who moved in afterwards. But the woman of God fasted and prayed, and her house was demonic spirit free. She kept good, spiritually clean music playing all of the time. She even had her grand babies praising God and clapping when she was doing a deliverance on one of her kids who was addicted to drugs. The house was and still is clean for the Holy Ghost to come and visit in when He desires.
- Ask God to quicken your spirit if a place is for you, or if it is not for you. God knows what goes on everywhere in the universe. He would know if someone was raped, violated in one place, or if someone practiced some form of the occult in another. Ask for discernment when looking for a new place to live.
- Ask about the neighbors. What kind of people are they? Look around the neighborhood. Are there a lot of churches? What kind of neighborhood is it? Ask for discernment about the neighborhood. The neighbors that live next to you might be okay, but what about the ones across the street?
- Ask a man or woman of God to go with you. Ask him to bring his blessed oil. Go around each room asking God to reveal any reason why you should avoid moving into this place. If any pictures come to mind of violence, rape or occult activity, say “thanks, but no thanks.”
- Ask the neighbors about the residents that once lived there. Ask about what kind of people that lived there. What did they do? Ask if they partied a lot and if they listened to a lot of hard rock, death metal or profanity laced hip hop music.
When you finally move into your new place, here are some ways to keep your house spiritually clean.
Avoid all secular music. No one knows what’s behind the making of a song. The artist might be singing something that sounds positive, but there are many stories of members of the occult community who have gatherings summoning familiar spirits to help with record sales. Even in the country music scene. If you must have a taste for the secular, ask God to lead you to the harmless stuff. Innocent sounding songs like Hotel California (which was inspired by the satanic bible author, Anton Levay), and Stairway to Heaven (written by occult obsessed/Aleister Crawley fan, musician Jimmy Paige) are more sinister and demonic than they sound. Music can be portals for either the Holy Ghost and God’s angels to come in or the opposite. Want great fellowship with God? have songs that sing about the Blood of Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost on. Wow!
Do not allow pornography, violent movies or overtly ‘mature’ themed videos into your house. This opens the door for sin, and where sin abounds, so can satan. Literally, as well as figuratively. Sin gives the enemy legal rights to take a hold of something. Violent movies can become a stronghold in someone’s mind. Pornography was one of the reasons why Ted Bundy became a serial killer, according to him. Porn carries a spirit. Porn should be avoided.
Keep all forms of occultic activities and product out of your house. Tarot cards, ouji boards, spooky movies, etc.
Bless your house as often as you can. have your pastor come and bless your house. Avoid voodoo type ‘blessings’ like bringing in a box of unopened salt into your house. Do not burn sage, or incense with the intent of scaring away demons. That will only increase activities, if there were any. Do not consult a ‘paranormal expert’ or a ghost hunter. These people are in danger themselves because they do not realize what they are dealing with.
Talk to God everyday, and get a great relationship with Him. Ask Him to send warrior angels to fill your house so that it looks like a fire hazard to the natural eye. Warning: DON’T EVER ATTEMPT TO COMMUNICATE WITH AN ANGEL! God’s messengers serve God, not themselves. They only do what God tells them to do. if you were to talk to an ‘angel’, and he or it responded back, then that wasn’t any of God’s angels, and you may have just opened a door. say Psalm 91 everyday until you feel comfortable.
1He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
2I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
3Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.
4He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.
5Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;
6Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.
7A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.
8Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.
9Because thou hast made the LORD, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;
10There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.
11For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.
12They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone.
13Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet.
14Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.
15He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him.
16With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.
God loves you, and He wants you protected as well as happy. Seek Him for everything, and you won’t go wrong.
