Today’s Music, a Las Vegas retailer of musical instruments, accessories, repair services, and music lessons, was out in the community sponsoring the 2nd Annual Battle4America, the Las Vegas Regional Final event leading to the 2011 Indie Music Festival.
Today’s Music showed that they not only want to provide the merchandise and service, they wanted to help the new music performers who won first place on Sunday March 27 at Count’s Vamp’d in Las Vegas with the prize of a “Switch Guitar.” This guitar has 2 humbukers, stop tail piece, composite body, ebbanall frett board, black on black on black with a gig bag included.
The band winning the “Switch” Guitar is called “Utopian Riot.” Utopian Riot band members recently performed at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and their performance video has been getting thousands of hits online. Utopian Riot were very appreciative of their prize guitar from Today’s Music especially since they broke their bass guitar during their performance in their set during the Battle 4 America and had to borrow a bass guitar from the band called “State of Mind.” State of Mind took the second place honors at Count’s Vamp’d located in Las Vegas at 6750 W. Sahara Blvd. .
Today’s Music awarded State of Mind second place competition band members a gift certificate for two full guitar set-ups from “Dr. Bob.” State of Mind band members include two brothers: Kyle and Tyler Roberts, Clint McKean, and Jason Hope..
