Billboard Music Debuts- April 2, 2011

This week’s first time debuts on the Billboard Music charts consisted of eleven songs on the Hot 100 charts, six songs on the R&B/Hip Hop charts, four songs on the Country charts, one song on the Adult Pop charts, one song on the Adult Contemporary charts, one song on the Heatseekers charts, and three songs on the Christian charts for a total of twenty-seven debuts.

HOT 100:

Loser Like Me by Glee Cast debuted at 6. It also debuted at 2 on Digital charts. This is on the TV episode Original Song. This was one of three original Glee songs to debut this week.

Get It Right by Glee Cast debuted at 16. It also debuted at 6 on Digital charts. This is on the TV episode Original Song. This was the second of the three original Glee songs to debut this week.

Who Says by Selena Gomez & The Scene debuted at 24. It also debuted at 11 on Digital charts. This is the lead single from their upcoming yet to be titled third album.

Raise Your Glass by Glee Cast debuted at 36. It also debuted at 17 on Digital charts. This is on the TV episode Original Song. It was originally performed by Pink in 2010.

Blackbird by Glee Cast debuted at 37. It also debuted at 18 on Digital charts. This is on the TV episode Original Song. It was originally performed by The Beatles in 1968.

Misery by Glee Cast debuted at 52. It also debuted at 25 on Digital charts. This is on the TV episode Original Song. It was originally performed by Maroon 5 in 2010.

Hell To The No by Glee Cast debuted at 53. It also debuted at 26 on Digital charts. This is on the TV episode Original Song. This was the second of the three original Glee songs to debut this week.

Candles by Glee Cast debuted at 71. It also debuted at 52 on Digital charts. This is on the TV episode Original Song. It was originally performed by Hey Monday in 2011.

Friday by Rebecca Black debuted at 72. It also debuted at 57 on Digital charts and 2 on Heatseekers charts. This is her first single. It has received mostly negative critical response.

Arms by Christina Perri debuted at 94. This is the second single from her album, Lovestrong.

Dancing Crazy by Miranda Cosgrove debuted at 100. This is the first single from her second EP, High Maintenance.

R&B/Hip Hop:

Motivation by Kelly Rowland debuted at 55. This song also features Lil Wayne. This is the fifth single from Kelly Rowland’s third album.

She Ain’t You by Chris Brown debuted at 75. This is from his fourth studio album, F.A.M.E.

Pop That by Brook Gang debuted at 76.

Your Body Is The Business by Avant debuted at 84. This is the second single from his sixth album, The Letter.

Til The End Of Time by Timothy Bloom debuted at 93. This song also features V. This is on his upcoming EP, The Budding Rose.

Out Of My Head by Lupe Fiasco debuted at 94. This song also features Trey Songz. This is from his third studio album, Lasers.

Country:

Teenage Daughters by Martina McBride debuted at 40.

Mr. Bartender by Bradley Gaskin debuted at 51.

Country Girl (Shake It For Me) By Luke Bryan debuted at 52.

Mary Was The Marrying Kind by Kip Moore debuted at 58.

Adult Pop:

I’ll Be Waiting by Michael Franti & Spearhead debuted at 36. This is from their seventh studio album, The Sound Of Sunshine.

Adult Contemporary:

Downtown Train by Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band debuted at 28. This is a cover version of Tom Waits’ 1985 song.

Heatseekers:

Been To Hell by Hollywood Undead debuted at 13. This is the second single from their second studio album, American Tragedy.

Christian:

The Redeemer by Sanctus Real debuted at 38. This is from their fifth studio album, Pieces Of A Real Heart.

All Things New by Nicol Sponberg debuted at 46. This is on her album, On Our Way Home.

Take Me Into The Beautiful by Cloverton debuted at 48. This is the title track to their EP, Take Me Into The Beautiful.
