Bible Verses to Inspire Number 1:
Psalm 18:2 says: The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God; my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
We can see in this Bible verse to inspire that the Lord is everything we need. He is our rock (our sure foundation), our fortress (a strong place to hide in and be protected), our deliverer (delivering us from anything that is not of the Lord), our strength (when we are weak, He is stronger and He is our strength), our buckler (a shield), the horn (container) of our salvation (rescuer and Savior), our high tower (to see way ahead from a strong, high place). He is a Lord we can trust completely because He is for us and not against us. We can stand safely and surely on Him.
Bible Verses to Inspire Number 2:
Matthew 7:24-25 says: Therefore, whosoever heareth these sayings of mine (Jesus), and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock. And the rain descended and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.
In this Bible verse to inspire, to have Jesus as our rock and foundation, we not only hear (read the Bible and read and hear Bible teachings) the sayings of Jesus, but incorporate them into our life, using them as our guide to living. When we do that, we are strong in the storms of life, able to not just cope, but stand strong on Jesus, our rock.
Bible Verses to Inspire Number 3:
Psalm 91:1-2 says: He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty, I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God, in him will I rust.
We find refuge and protection when we dwell in the secret place with the most High God. We abide in the secret place by prayer, worship and reading God’s word, the Bible. In His presence is fullness of joy in getting to know Him, His ways, and His protection. These verses have come to mean a lot to me. I have this Psalm printed on a little card that I carry around with me. When I get into a stressful situation, I look at it, read especially the first four verses, it calms me down and I can just feel the shielding of the Lord covering me and I feel safe. I also like to pray through all of Psalm 91. I think protection for everything possible is covered in this Psalm. Read it slowly and contemplatively when you get a chance.
Bible Verses to Inspire Number 4:
Isaiah41:10 says: Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee ; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
This Bible verse to inspire also is one of my favorites, especially when I am not feeling well. Sometimes I really need Him to hold me up! And He does, all I have to do is ask Him and be willing to believe and feel Him holding me up. He is always with us, He is our God. We profess that he is our God and trust Him as our God. We do not have to cave in to fear, just hold on to Him. He will strengthen us in our weaknesses. What a God!
Bible Verses to Inspire Number 5:
Psalm 145:15-16 says: The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season. Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.
God feeds and provides for the animals and all living things on the earth. How much more will He feed and provide for those who trust and look to Him. It is amazing how God, the creator of the entire universe, looks out for and sees all the needs of every living thing, and provides. The birds don’t go to work and earn money. Yet the Lord provides for them. He will certainly provide for us, His followers. He always provides what is needed at the right time. His hand is always ready to help.
Bible Verses to Inspire Number 6:
2 Peter 1:19 says: We have also a more sure word of prophecy: whereunto ye do well that ye take hold, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts.
The word of God, our sure word of prophecy, is worth studying, taking hold of it. Following God’s word can cause the darkness to pull back, allowing the bright sunlight to shine. It is good to be a child of light. The joy of the Lord makes you feel like the day star is arising in your heart. This Bible verse is truly one to inspire us in our life’s journey. Let His light shine, let His star arise in your hearts!
