Bible Verses to Inspire Number 1:
Hebrews 4:15-16 says: For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in the time of need.
Isn’t it encouraging that Jesus, our high priest, walked this earth and experienced the things we experience first hand and yet did not sin? Because of that, we can pray to God without being afraid, or having to be good or perfect for the Lord to hear us. He was tempted, as we are. He understands what we are going through. We can come boldly before the Lord with our problems and our innermost feelings without shame. We can say out loud to the Lord things that are unmentionable, without fear or shame. The Lord will not reproach us or turn away from us. He has been there and understands how it happened. This is an inspirational Bible Verse that I read when I need to pray about things that are not good!
Bible Verses to Inspire Number 2:
Philippians 3: 13-14 says: Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.
No matter if there are things in our past we wish we would have done differently, today is a new day. We can ask God to forgive our past, put it behind us, just as the Lord did when He forgave us our sins and put it behind Him. This makes us free to reach ahead, dream big for the future. We learned our lesson from the past and are now ready to live our lives to the good and fullness the Lord has planned for us. We are new, the past cannot touch our new plans in any other way than the lesson we learned from the past. We will remember the lesson, to be used in the now and in the future. God has a wonderful plan for our lives. We can plan and set goals that are more than we thought we could ever do. How encouraging this inspirational Bible Verse is!
Bible Verses to Inspire Number 3:
Hebrews 12:2 says: Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
This inspirational Bible Verse I use a lot in my life. If I have something ahead of me, or are in the middle of something that is hard or tough for me, I remember this Bible Verse. I think of how Jesus went through the tortures of the cross, keeping His eye on the future victory of being back in heaven with the Father again, having fulfilled the Law, defeated the evil one and redeemed the people of God. So, I try to remember this inspirational Bible Verse in times of trouble, to remind myself to keep my eyes on the future good outcome. For example, if we have an operation or medical procedure ahead of us, we can set our minds on how good we will feel when we are healed and it is all behind us. Jesus sets a good example for us to follow in this inspirational Bible Verse. Think about it.
Bible Verses to Inspire Number 4:
Hebrews 11:1 says: Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.
Many people have defined faith and have explained how to use it in many different ways. True, faith is important in the life of a believer in the Lord. To me, faith is when I have a picture in my mind of what the Lord has for me. It is a moving picture that looks as real as the computer in front of me looks right now. I can see it happening and I believe and want it to happen. And I remember it well. There have been times when I have seen things like this and in time, they did come about. Sometimes when they come about, they are not exactly like I saw it, but it is very recognizable. I have a dream for my future right now that I can clearly see. I am looking forward to it’s reality appearing. I know it will, even if it is a couple of years from now. I am doing things now to prepare for it. Perhaps what we do to prepare for the thing helps it to become reality. Think about this. Is there something you really want in life? What can you do today to prepare for it? Do you think doing things today to prepare for your dream will help it to come about? If so, think of your dream often. This Inspirational Bible Verse could change the course of your life, starting today as you have something to look forward to.
Bible Verses to Inspire Number 5:
Matthew 11:28-29 says: Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
This inspirational Bible Verse gives the promise of rest as we learn of Jesus and take up His yoke. Taking up His yoke is hard at first. You must learn His ways and then put them into practice. And then, as you do this, you find rest in Him. As we do our daily work, we can rest in the Lord. This makes our day go much better than it would if we spend it mad, or in a hurry, or upset. His peace is much better. His pace is much better. How do we learn of Him? Read the Bible, it’s all in there. The New Testament is a good place to start.
Bible Verses to Inspire Number 6:
Revelation 21:4 says: And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
This is one of the ultimate Bible Verses to Inspire, as God describes what He will cause to happen for His people. This is so refreshing to think about as we go about our everyday lives. Our lives have problems. Sometimes it is stress, sometimes it’s pain. Sorrow can darken our days, making them full of tears. This inspirational Bible Verse can lift our spirits and thoughts to realize what we are going through in our lives is temporary. God’s love and relief are eternal. Just think about that! How inspiring this Bible Verse is as we look forward to that day.
