Bible Verses of Hope Number 1:
Ephesians 3:20 says: Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,
This Bible verse of hope are for those who have asked Jesus Christ into their hearts (you can do that by praying to Jesus now if you haven’t done it yet). God is able to do what we ask him. When he answers prayer, it is answered even greater and better than we asked. The Holy Spirit within us helps us to pray when we don’t know how to pray as we should. So, when you ask God for something, don’t think you are asking too much. He is able to do more abundantly than we ask or even think, no matter what!
Bible Verses of Hope Number 2:
Psalm 124:8 says: Our help is in the name of the Lord, who made heaven and earth.
The God who made heaven and earth just by speaking His word is surely able to help us! He made everything out of absolutely nothing, just by speaking His words. Sometimes our situations seem that there is no way out, no solution. He can always make a way where there is not way. He can make a way out of nothing. The Lord sometimes is our only hope. I have come into situations in my life where the doctor could not help, the counselor could not help, I had nowhere to go for help. I asked God to help me (too bad I waited until only He was left), He helped me and I was made well and solid again. Call upon the Lord first, and He will help you. Then go to the doctor and counselor, they are His tools many times.
Bible Verses of Hope Number 3:
Hebrews 10:10-20 says: Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus, By a new and living way, which he hath consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, His flesh;
After Jesus was crucified, on the third day He arose again. His accomplishment on the cross and resurrection enables to be cleansed by the Blood of Jesus, to enter into the presence of God boldly. Jesus is alive and has made a new and living way for us to the Father. We can pray to God and ask for help about anything, large or small, without fear or dread. And then know He is working on our behalf.
Bible Verses of Hope Number 4:
Romans 8:24-25 says: For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth why doeth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
This Bible verse for hope says that hope saves us. When we can actively hope for what is not evident in what we see, that keeps us able to wait patiently for it. Hope is a knowing that it will come to pass eventually, either sooner or later. If we believe what we hope for is God’s will and we have His promise for it’s completion, this gives us confidence and stability. You don’t hope for what you already see, you hope for the much better which is to come. God’s promises are in the Bible. There are many little “promise books” you can obtain that list His promises by topic that is useful in times of trouble and stress.
Bible Verses of Hope Number 5:
Hebrews 6:18-19 says: That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us: Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, — .
In the verse before the above verses, it says God swore by Himself that His counsel was immutable (unchanging or unalterable). God swore by Himself because He was the greatest thing He could swear by, it was that important to Him that we can trust His promises. Fleeing for refuge in God enables us to lay hold upon the hope that He can protect us. This surety that God’s promises are trustworthy enables us to anchor our souls in the hope of God’s faithfulness to perform what He has promised us. We put our confidence in God.
Bible Verses of Hope Number 6:
Psalm 30:5b says: — in his favor is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
Even in the darkest of nights, in the midst of trials, we know that the situation is only temporary. When we get through it, the sun will shine again. Life will again be routine, with times of joy here and there. Keep your eyes on the Lord, and His promises which never fail. We will always come to pleasant days, we have God’s word on it to those whose faith is in Him.
