Theme parks fascinate people of every nationality from all over the world. Great local theme parks cater to the imaginations of the young and old alike. Thrilling rides and elaborate, colorful themes complemented by exquisite restaurants, tasty treat-shops and fast-food eateries are a few of the many attractions at two of the best local amusement and theme parks located in Southern California.
The two best local amusement and theme parks are Disneyland and Knott’s Berry Farm parks with a collection of rides, numerous attractions, and several restaurants, all attractively designed in life-like, worldly themes. From my first visits during my childhood to the numerous return trips over the last 50 years that have included my children and grand children, I have found these two amusement park venues wonderful, amusing, entertaining and uniquely themed with stimulating attractions that offer breath-taking trips into the future, magical fantasies, and enchanting, informative, creatively-themed recreations of America’s rich history.
Great attractions, fine dining, and a grand mix of entertainment describe Disneyland’s theme park. Known as a “place where imagination is destination,” and “the happiest place on earth,” Disneyland has eight imaginative themes including “Adventure Land,” “Critter Country,” “Fantasyland,” “Frontierland,” “Main Street, U.S.A.,” “Mickey’s Toontown,” “New Orleans Square,” and, “Tomorrowland.”
