I am a big fan of many Stouffer’s brand frozen meals. I am also a beef pepper steak fan so, when I spotted Stouffer’s Signature Classics Green Pepper Steak Dinner in the frozen meals section of my local favorite grocery store, I was delighted. I decided to purchase it, try it and write a product review all about it. Here is what I discovered!
Stouffer’s Signature Classics Green Pepper Steak Dinner costs around two dollars and a bit over. I discovered that this meal has only 240 calories in it. Well, that fact did impress me. It is also very low fat. This dish has very thin strips of beef, green and red peppers, onions, tomatoes, a Chinese type of sauce and lots of white rice in it. That all sounded terrific to me. This meal also has no preservatives. Fabulous! I could not wait to taste it!
Stouffer’s Signature Classics Green Pepper Steak Dinner is made with the flash frozen method which ensures veggie freshness. This frozen single serve meal is perfect for microwave cooking and that is how I chose to prepare it. I cut a slit in the film cover, cooked on high for four minutes, uncovered, stirred, re covered and continued cooking on high for three more minutes. I then let this dish stand for one more minute, to complete the cooking process. I must admit, this dinner smelled yummy and it looked great.
When I tasted Stouffer’s Signature Classics Green Pepper Steak Dinner, I liked it. The white rice, sauce and peppers were very good, flavorful and fresh tasting. The beef is plentiful in this meal and I enjoyed that fact. The strips of beef are very thin and could have had a bit more flavor, in my opinion, but they are tasty. What impressed me most about this meal was that it provided me with so much food. It is hearty and filling. Well worth the money. I rate it four stars out of five stars. I will be buying it again. The fresh taste of the peppers really stands out.

Overall, this meal is a winner. Though the steak is thin and not that great, it is in large amounts in this meal. A nice surprise, in my book.
