I am a fan of many Polar brand food products. I was delighted when I came across a can of Polar Pineapple Chunks in the canned fruit section at my local grocery store. The price was right on this item! I decided to purchase it, try it out and write an unbiased product review all about my personal experience with it. Here is what I discovered!
I bought a large 20 ounce sized can of Polar Pineapple Chunks for only one dollar. Wow! This product was on sale and I took advantage of that fact. I love cooking with pineapple and using it many various recipes, from fruit salad to ice cream sundae toppings. I discovered that Polar brand pineapple is one hundred percent natural, fat free, cholesterol free and vitamin C rich. It is also fairly low cal and packed in pineapple juice. Fantastic! I could not wait to try it!
I decided to make a homemade fruit salad with this product. I drained the pineapple chunks, added to sliced bananas, blueberries, diced apples, chopped pecans, sliced strawberries and a cup of low fat whipped topping, all in a large bowl. I stirred all the ingredients together and refrigerated for one hour and then served. When I tasted Polar Pineapple Chunks, I liked them. They were great in my fruit salad. They are sweet, juicy and yummy. I did have a few chunks that were a little tough, but overall, this canned pineapple is a winner! I am glad I tried it while it was on sale. I rate it three and one half stars out of five stars. I will probably buy it again. Especially at a good price. Since there are four servings in each can, this fruit is food budget friendly. It is not as fresh tasting as the Dole brand, but it is cheaper.

I enjoyed trying Polar Pineapple Chunks and writing this product review about them. It gives me an affordable and fat free fruit option for my desserts. I used the leftover pineapple juice for fruit smoothies and they were delicious. I also like to chop up this pineapple and serve it as a sundae topping or over ice cream.
