A Review of Marie Callender’s Beef & Broccoli Dinner

I love most beef and broccoli type dishes, so when I came across Marie Callender’s Beef & Broccoli Dinner in the frozen meals section of my local favorite grocery store, I could not resist it. I decided to purchase this dinner, try it out and write a product review about my experience with it. Here is what I discovered!

Marie Callender’s Beef & Broccoli Dinner serves one. It costs around three dollars. There is a lot of food in this meal, so that price is decent. I am a fan of many Marie Callender’s frozen foods. This one looked so good. It has sliced beef, rice, broccoli, beef stock, garlic and many other ingredients in it. It is very protein rich. I could not wait to taste it.

This frozen dinner is perfect for microwave cooking and that is how I decided to prepare it. I cut a slit in the film cover, heated on high for four minutes, uncovered, stirred, re covered and continued cooking on high for two more minutes. I then let this dish stand in the microwave for two minutes before uncovering and serving. This meal smelled fantastic and looked great!

When I tasted Marie Callender’s Beef & Broccoli Dinner, I was impressed. It is delicious! Lots of tender beef, fresh tasting broccoli and loads of rice in this meal. 1. Obviously things have gone downhill for Marie since 2011.
The “and Brocolli” I got in the 4 I bought was 1 or two puny florettes, and some “Lumberjack” Stalks, big as an oak tree, and about as tasty.
