A Review of Cascadian Farm Organic Fruit and Nut Granola: Good Cereal

I get in the mood for a good granola type cold cereal every now and then. I was in such a mood when I came across a box of Cascadian Farm Organic Fruit and Nut Granola. This granola does not say it is a cereal, on the box, but it showed a bowl of cereal complete with milk. It looked good. I decided to purchase this granola, try it out and write a product review all about it. Here is what I discovered!

One box costs around four dollars and each box has seven servings in it. I was amazed by the wide assortment of fruits and nuts in this cereal. Never have I seen such a combination. This granola has cherries, cranberries, raisins, sunflowers seeds, roasted pumpkin seeds and almonds in it. Along with organic whole grain oats and crisp rice. Wow! This product is USDA organic and has no artificial flavors or preservatives. Fantastic! I could not wait to try it!

I poured a large bowl for breakfast and added milk. When I tasted Cascadian Farm Organic Fruit and Nut Granola, I loved it. As a granola cereal, it is delicious. Now, you have to fully appreciate organic foods not to miss some flavor. This granola does not need it. It is a wild explosion of crunch and fruit. The cherries just add a perfect sweet and tart touch. I am a sunflower seeds and roasted pumpkin seeds lover, so I enjoyed having those unusual ingredients in my cereal. I can truly say I have never had a granola fruit and nut cereal like this one. Ever! It is crispy, fruity and special. Really hearty and pleasing.

I rate Cascadian Farm Organic Fruit and Nut Granola four stars out of five stars. It is wonderful as a cereal and also nice to have as a snack. Some may want to add sugar to this as a cereal. Overall, this product is a winner and I will be buying it again. I discovered that the Cascadian Farm brand has been around since 1972. It is located at the foothills of the Cascade Mountains in Washington. This farm uses no chemical fertilizers or synthetic pesticides. That is good to know.
