I am a big fan of chicken noodle soup. Recently, I had tried the lower sodium version of Campbell’s chicken noodle soup. I loved it! When I came across a can of Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup, in the canned soups section of my local grocery store, I wanted to remember. I decided to purchase it and write an unbiased product review all about it. Here is what I discovered!
One can of Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup is affordable. It costs a bit over one dollar. Each can has two servings in it. You do need to add water to this soup, since it is condensed. I discovered that this soup is made with thirty-two feet of fresh egg noodles. Wow. They measure it. No way! Way. That is nice to know and quite startling. That is quite a length of noodles, I tell you. No wonder this soup is filling. It is low fat, low cal and low in cholesterol. It also has no artificial flavors. I learned a lot about this classic and favorite traditional chicken noodle soup. There is a reason that it is number one.
This soup is perfect for microwave cooking and that is how I chose to heat it up. I poured the contents of the can into a large microwave safe bowl, added one can of water, stirred, covered and heated on high for a few minutes. I uncovered, stirred well and served. This soup smelled good and looked great.
When I tasted Campbell’s Chicken Noodle Soup, I remembered why I loved it. It is rich, has lots of tender noodles and small juicy chunks of chicken in it. The broth is fantastic. There is only problem with this soup and that is the high sodium content. I rate it four and one half stars out of five stars. I am sure I will buy this soup again. I do favor the lower sodium version of this product. Still, who am I to argue with success? This soup is an American soup favorite. It always makes me feel better when I eat it and it is a great comfort soup.
