A Change in the Atmosphere Means We Are No Longer Alone

The moment Poe and Amontillado stepped into the front room they immediately felt a darker presence when they returned. “What is going on in here?” Pierre asked. “What do you mean?” Poe asked. “You don’t feel that? The energy let alone, but the temperature has become quite stagnant.” He replied. “You’re right I am feeling something too, either Mrs. Radisch’s killer is here with us now or was right before we arrived.” Robert said. “What are you trying to say do you think this guy is already dead?” Pierre asked. “No, just the opposite he is very much alive.”

While rummaging through Miss Mary-Alice’s belongings, which included family photo albums and legal documents. Had it not been for their rampant determination they would not have noticed that the dark presence that they each felt when they first entered the home there it was again. “Aren’t you going to stop him he’s the one that killed me?” A voice suddenly rang out of nowhere. It was most definitely the voice of the deceased, but what was she doing here? Robert glanced at Pierre. “Is this allowed to happen?” He asked. “I’ve seen it happen before.” The two of them stood by watching this figure of Mary Alice go in and out of visibility. “What is she doing now?” He inquired. “She is trying to manifest herself back into the form she was while living.” Pierre replied. “How do know these things?” He asked. “When you’ve been dead as long as I have and you haven’t then you’ll understand what I’m talking about.” He gloated. “What the two of you need to do is stop quibbling amongst yourselves and catch my murderer!” She yelled. “Where is she I have to get outta here!” A voice shouted from the shadows and bulldozed through the livingroom and without knowing it the offender ran directly through Poe and Amontillado. “I’m sure you remember what that feels like?” Pierre asked. “I remember it was my former partner Sam Raven and if that’s what it had to take to make me realize that I was dead then I guess I have even more to learn about death.” Robert replied. “Are the two of you deaf or something, he is getting away?” She screeched. “What do we do now?” He asked. “The killer did walk through the both of us it should be easy to find him we’ll act bloodhounds and follow his scent.” Pierre remarked.
