Greater Phoenix lights up the night every 4th of July with fireworks celebrations around the Valley. From Goodyear to Surprise, these family friendly Independence Day celebrations happen every year. Some are bigger than others, like the All American Festival at the Peoria Sports Complex. Others are the kind where you bring your own blanket and a picnic basket to get together with your neighbors for an old fashioned small town style community gathering, like the Fun, Family, and Fireworks Out Wickenburg Way celebration. Others, like the Surprise 4th of July in Surprise, are cross between the two.
