Oh, Cheese Puffs….who doesn’t love them? Cheese Puffs are one of the best snacks there is- especially for children! They stain your fingers orange, get stuck in your teeth and make your tummy happy…any child’s dream in one single puff! However, finding a quality cheese puff that is not loaded with fats and preservatives is nearly impossible!
365 Cheese Puffs are made with real cheddar cheese, and all natural cornmeal- which is more than you can say about the competitors. So, let’s examine the ingredients:
Cornmeal, expeller pressed sunflower and/or sunflower seed oil, whey, reduced lactose whey, butter, buttermilk, cheddar cheese, blue cheese, salt, disodium phosphate, lactic acid, natural butter flavor, citric acid.
Although the ingredient list is a bit long, it still remains a natural snack, that is not entirely loaded with preservatives. The list did not include names of which I could not pronounce, which is always an ah-ha moment, where I typically gasp at what they could possibly mean or be!
With nothing to research in the ingredients list, I continued on to examine the nutritional facts. I was pleasantly surpised to find that they were somewhat low in fat and carbohyrates and contained zero trans fat- which means I could munch on them while managing my Mama buldge, and feel good about letting my children snack on them as well.

Although this snack may not be ideal for some dieters, it is a good alternative to other cheese puff products or chips on the market, if you have the need for some crunch. With only 19g of carbohydrates in 2 cups, you do not have to feel guilty, or as if you are completely destroying your diet plan by munching on these cheese puffs.
My children also greatly enjoy this snack, and it is a much healthier option than competitors. I like adding these cheese puffs to my sons lunch at school. I usually pair them with a sandwich and a piece of fruit. This lunch allows me the satisfaction of knowing that he is maintaining a healthy diet, while also enjoying what he eats.
Another perks of this cheese puff snack is that they are ideal for my one year old. They absorb quickly, and are large enough that she does not shove the whole piece in her mouth at once. They are a perfect starter snack for her, and she loves them…and her orange fingers!
