Flags for Our Fallen Memorial Day Rally
The 5th Annual Phoenix Memorial Day Rally takes place from 6:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. on May 30, 2011. You’ll find over a mile of American flags lining the road leading up to the entrance of the Phoenix Veterans Cemetery. As family members go into the cemetery at 6:30 a.m., the bike riders and other attendees salute them as a tribute to relatives who are buried there. The official ceremony takes place inside the cemetery at 8 a.m. The event is free of charge for all attendees.

Trip to the Arizona Military Museum
If you’re looking for something to do over the long Memorial Day weekend, spend a few hours at the Arizona Military Museum. The museum is open on Saturday and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and admission is free.
